Be a part of
MSCS at UIC's first annual Ping-Pong (Table Tennis) Tournament
SPRING BREAK '02
Friday, March 22nd, 1:00pm, SEO room 300
The festivities will begin with recreational matches at 1:00.
The competitive tournament will begin at 2:00.
Please reply (even if you already have) to reserve your place in
either the *RECREATIONAL or *COMPETITIVE Tournaments (indicate). The
recreational tournament will be informal and allow each person to play at
least 2 games. The competitive tournament will be precisely structured,
but will allow each player to play the same number of games (not an
elimination tournament). There will be a clear-cut MSCS ping-pong
champion at the conclusion of the tournament.
PLEASE NOTE: Signing up for the competitive tournament does not imply that
you think you are good, it merely means that you don't mind facing some
formidable competition.
All subsequent emails with details such as format, number of entries,
etc., will only be sent to those individuals who have replied.
And whether you are playing or not, we encourage all members of the
department to join the event. Plus if everyone brought a food/snack item,
we would really have a festive atmosphere!
Looking forward to it,
Phil
